LAB:LAB is a creative mix of peer-driven summit, problem-solving workshop, and collaborative retreat designed to help innovation lab leaders think better about how they manage their labs, promote innovation, and deliver extraordinary value to their organizations.

It takes more than one person to make an innovation lab successful, so every organization can bring up to three attendees, including a senior innovation lab leader, a lab team member, and a key stakeholder who supports, funds, or manages the lab. To read more about our approach, check out the LAB:LAB Manifesto.

No Competitors

To nurture a collaborative environment where meaningful conversations can thrive, attendance is limited to 25, non-competitive organizations.

No Sponsors

This event is built by and for innovation lab leaders and their teams. You won’t be pestered by vendors or worried that a meaningful conversation turns into a sales pitch.

No Powerpoint

The best meetings are focused on insight discovery, not information delivery. That’s why we’ve banned PowerPoint to elevate conversations over presentations.

For those who arrive on Monday, September 26th, we’ll host a late afternoon craft cocktail demonstration followed by an evening dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants.

  • Every organization shares an unnecessary mistake they’ve made and a surprisingly easy (or ridiculously crazy) thing they tried that worked better than expected.

  • Small group conversations about overcoming innovation fatigue, building stakeholder buy-in, and driving customer and visitor engagement.

  • A frank discussion of the tools, products, vendors, consultants, and partners everyone loves (or hates).

  • We’ll take tours of the innovation centers of some of St. Louis’ leading companies.

  • We’ll convene at a nearby restaurant for a great dinner and frank, off-the-record conversation.

  • We’ll spend our morning in a semi-competitive small-group exercise where we ask randomly assigned teams to pitch how they’d design an innovation lab if they were starting from scratch.

  • Afternoon: We’ll wrap LAB:LAB at 1 pm so those who need to get to the airport may do so.

  • We’ll keep the venue open for the stragglers who aren’t leaving until the next day — and will have an optional evening activity for everyone who’d like to attend.

Because LAB:LAB is built for teams, each organization can bring up to three attendees. The price of a Team Ticket is $2,950, though you’ll save $500 if you buy before June 1st. There are also ten individual tickets available at $1,250 each.

And since LAB:LAB doesn’t allow competing organizations, attendance is by invitation only. You can express your interest here.

Each Team Ticket includes:

  • Attendance for Three to LAB:LAB

  • Breakfasts, Lunches, and Dinners for all attendees.

  • Membership in the LAB:LAB LinkedIn Group

  • A Visual Conference Recap

  • A copy of the Innovation Lab Best Practice Guide (built at the event).
